Cupi's crosswalk escapade out for lunch in downtown Silver Spring center! How wonderful it was to have the asiago stack sandwich today! The counter girl explained all the sandwich choices completely and it was two I wanted, Cupi is only one sweet lady. I chose the steak with arugula, red peppers, cheese melted on the Asiago bun style and a special sauce with a bit of "heat". So great, I want it to stay on the menu. I really always like how swiftly the staff comes around and makes the table atmosphere feel ready even though there are so many customers. I feel like I always am the first one in!
Monday I had a impromptu lunch with one of my favorite Lady Cousin's and we chose Panera over McDonald's and it was the best choice considering how the weather was nasty. W went with the Choose Two Menu. Our choice were excellent, fresh, and oh so tasty. We we're satisfied with our choice. I went with Chili with an Apple on the side and I was impressed with the flavor and ingredients especially a good touch of Cumin. The Chili was that good that I was scrapping the bowl. That was some #GootEats!!!
Ate here dor dinner alo e around 6pm. Somewhat busy, but tables available. Staff seemed very relaxed but polite. Restaurant is worn from lots of business but fairly clean. Kitchen area seems clean too. I ordered the strawberry salad and it was bery fresh and good. Plenty of food. It was prepared fairly quick. Prices are adequate for service, quality and portions. Atmosphere is very casual and supplies internet
Panera Bread has lots of good sandwiches, salads and soups to choose from. In addition, lots of delicious baked goods, pastries & breads made fresh daily. . This location is great. I just started coming here since I work more from home now and must say I haven't had a bad meal yet. It's fast, fresh and most options are healthy which is one of the reasons I frequent this spot. The "Pick 2" is my favorite thing to order because you get a chance to try some of everything and mix it up. You also can not beat the macaroni and cheese in the bread bowl or the cheese flatbread pizza. Both of these dishes are a thumbs up for sure. The vibe of the place is casual, with lots of seating tables and booths. I've noticed this location tends to stay crowded with coffee drinkers hanging out and those seeking refuge to connect to the digital world. All these things make this spot great for catching up with friends and working remote that's for sure. The staff here are very friendly and orders tend to be made quick....which is good for those seeking healthy option on a grab and go tip...which is often my M-O! The only negative I would say about this location that needs improvement is the frequency of cleaning in the dining area. Several times I have noticed filthy floors and food crumbs/debris left on the tables and seating areas. Not a good look and hopefully if anyone from the management side of this store location is reading this....handle it please!. Not a good look. Hence, the 1star deduction. Otherwise, in all, great food and fast service. The food is always fresh and delicious.
